Tinubu Must Go Again 2027 Campaign Holds Rally in Yola, Adamawa

The Tinubu Must Go Again 2027 campaign has held a rally in Yola, Adamawa State, to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The rally, held on Thursday at Lamido Cinema, attracted supporters and representatives from the six states in Nigeria’s North-East geopolitical zone. Organisers described the turnout as a demonstration of Tinubu’s support base in the region.

Speaking at the event, the campaign’s National Coordinator, Professor Sheriff Almuhajir, said the mobilisation was organised voluntarily to demonstrate support for the president and promote his administration’s reform agenda.

Sheriff Almuhajir Defends Tinubu’s Economic Reforms

Almuhajir urged Nigerians to assess the economic challenges facing the country within the context of the ongoing reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration.

He expressed optimism that the policies would lay the foundation for sustainable economic growth, encouraging Nigerians to consider the administration’s reform agenda and its long-term objectives.

The campaign coordinator also highlighted what he described as Tinubu’s support for the political advancement of Northern politicians.

According to Almuhajir, the president had supported three candidates from Northern Nigeria, including two from Adamawa State. He argued that the presence of young people and other supporters at the rally challenged claims that Tinubu lacked sufficient political backing in Northern Nigeria.

The remarks formed part of the campaign’s efforts to highlight the president’s political relationships in the region and promote his administration’s policies ahead of the next presidential election.

Adamawa APC Leaders Pledge Support for Tinubu’s Second-Term Bid

The Adamawa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretary, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, also expressed the party’s commitment to mobilising voters for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

Ribadu cited the president’s political relationship with Adamawa State and federal infrastructure interventions as factors behind the party’s position.

Also speaking, the Deputy Chairman of the Adamawa State APC, Dr Raymond Chidama, who represented the state chairman, commended the campaign leadership for selecting Adamawa as the starting point for its mobilisation drive.

The participation of the state party officials highlighted the involvement of APC stakeholders in the campaign’s efforts to build support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

Tinubu Must Go Again Campaign Targets Youths, Women

The organisers said the Yola rally forms part of a nationwide mobilisation strategy targeting young people, women, professionals and community leaders.

The campaign intends to promote its message of continuity, stability and prosperity while encouraging support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

By beginning its mobilisation activities in Adamawa State, the organisers said they aimed to engage supporters in the North-East and expand the campaign’s reach across the country.

The rally also provided a platform for campaign leaders and party officials to discuss the administration’s reform agenda and their expectations for Nigeria’s economic future.

2027 Presidential Election: Campaign Activities Gather Momentum

With the 2027 presidential election approaching, political groups and party stakeholders are expected to intensify their mobilisation activities, public engagement and discussions around the records and policy priorities of political leaders.

For the Tinubu Must Go Again 2027 campaign, the Yola rally represents part of its stated strategy to organise supporters across different demographic groups and regions.

However, the organisers’ claims about the level of support demonstrated at the event remain their assessment of the turnout. The rally itself does not independently establish the broader level of public support for Tinubu across Northern Nigeria.

The campaign has indicated that its mobilisation efforts will continue nationwide as it seeks to promote the president’s second-term bid.
