Jumia Nigeria Launches 2026 Black Friday Sale With Up to 60% Discounts

Jumia Nigeria has announced its 2026 Black Friday campaign, offering discounts of up to 60 per cent on essential and lifestyle products from October 30 to November 30, under its “No Manage Am” theme.

The e-commerce platform said the campaign would combine discounted prices, special brand offers and interactive promotions to help Nigerian consumers purchase products they need at affordable prices while enjoying an improved shopping experience.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lagos on Wednesday, Jumia Nigeria Chief Executive Officer, Temitayo Ojo, said the company had upgraded its platform to accommodate approximately three times the traffic recorded during last year’s Black Friday campaign.

Ojo said the initiative was designed to make Black Friday more practical for consumers by focusing on affordability, product availability and reliable service delivery.

“With ‘No Manage Am’, we are making Black Friday about more than discounts: it is about helping customers get the products they want, at prices that work for them, through a reliable shopping experience,” he said.

“Our upgraded platform can accommodate approximately three times last year’s Black Friday traffic, and we are ready to deliver our most memorable edition yet.”

Jumia’s ‘No Manage Am’ Campaign Targets Everyday Needs

Inspired by the Nigerian expression “No Manage Am”, the campaign encourages consumers to replace faulty gadgets, outdated appliances and worn-out household essentials instead of continuing to use products that no longer meet their needs.

Jumia said the initiative would feature deals across major consumer categories, enabling shoppers to stretch their budgets while accessing a wide range of products.

The campaign will include offers from leading brands, daily promotions and interactive activities designed to increase customer participation throughout the month-long shopping period.

Five Explosion Fridays and Cyber Monday Sale

A major highlight of the campaign is the introduction of five Explosion Fridays scheduled for October 30 and November 6, 13, 20 and 27.

The shopping event will conclude with a Cyber Monday sale on November 30, giving consumers another opportunity to access promotional offers before the campaign ends.

NIVEA, Xiaomi and Skyrun will serve as headline sponsors, while Silver Crest, Oraimo, Samsung and Aeon will participate alongside other brands.

The participating brands are expected to offer deals across various product categories, including personal care, electronics, mobile devices and household appliances.

Free Shipping, Giveaways and Interactive Promotions

Beyond price reductions, Jumia has planned several activities to attract shoppers and provide additional opportunities to access deals.

These include daily Brand Day promotions, free shipping on Sundays, a Scavenger Hunt featuring 200 hidden items, the Snatch It Challenge and live-streamed giveaways.

On November 11, shoppers will also be able to participate in 11 consecutive hours of promotions, running from 8am to 6pm, with freebies hidden across the platform.

The activities are intended to encourage consumers to explore the platform regularly and take advantage of limited-time offers during the campaign.

Jumia Upgrades Platform for Increased Shopping Traffic

To prepare for the expected increase in online transactions, Jumia said it had conducted platform stress tests, strengthened its infrastructure and worked with vendors to ensure adequate product availability and efficient order fulfilment.

The company said its preparations were designed to minimise disruptions and support customers as shopping activity increases during the promotional period.

Jumia has also expanded customer support across its mobile application, website, WhatsApp, live chat and telephone hotlines, with 24-hour assistance throughout the campaign.

Additional customer service features include AI-powered chat support, a call-to-order service and an improved returns and refund process.

According to the company, these measures are intended to make it easier for shoppers to place orders, obtain assistance and resolve issues throughout the Black Friday period.

How Nigerian Shoppers Can Prepare for Jumia Black Friday

Jumia has advised consumers to visit its website or download its mobile application ahead of the campaign to explore participating brands, compare prices, create wishlists and plan their purchases.

Shoppers have also been encouraged to check the campaign calendar and enable notifications to avoid missing limited-time deals.

With discounts of up to 60 per cent, multiple promotional events and expanded customer support, Jumia aims to position its 2026 Black Friday campaign as an opportunity for Nigerian consumers to purchase everyday essentials and lifestyle products at competitive prices.

The campaign runs from October 30 to November 30, 2026, culminating in the Cyber Monday sale.
