BREAKING: Fubara Did It As A Survival Strategy Because That’s Only Way He Can Rescue Himself – Shehu Sani

PDP leader and former senator Shehu Sani asserts that Governor Sim Fubara purposefully destroyed the Rivers State House of Assembly complex during a fire in order to evade impeachment.

In a video interview (8:12) with TVC, Sani talked about the political unrest in Rivers State, focusing on the issues surrounding Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike. He asserted that the demolition was a calculated measure by the governor to prevent Wike’s supporters from taking any activities that would threaten his authority.

In Shehu Sani’s words, he disclosed saying, “The idea of fire in the State House of Assembly that led to an integrity test and then the demolition, everyone knows from a reasonable point of view that is simply an action to prevent the impeachment. There is no reason for fire there and there is no reason for demolition. The fact is that Fubara did it as a survival strategy because that is the only way he can rescue himself knowing fully that the State Assembly is inhabited by loyalists of Wike.”
