Nigerian Musician and activist, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has reacted after the residents in Abia state used electricity for 48 hours without any interruption.
According to PUNCH, the residents of Aba in Abia state celebrated uninterrupted power supply for two days. This is coming after the governor of the state, Dr Alex Otti recently comnissioned the geometric power plant and three roads in Aba.
However, Charly Boy has now reacted to the report. In a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, he quoted the words of the governor saying that he is not looking to compete with Lagos but with Dubai in United Arab Emirates.
Charly Boy wrote on his official page;.
“I am a billionaire, my sons are billionaires, I have only 3 children, no Godfather brought me into power, Abia money will go into Abia, I am looking to compete with Dubai, not Lagos”.
