BREAKING: Mixed Responds As Sanwo-Olu Says Lagos To Engage ‘Mama Put’ To Feed 1,500 People In Each LGA Daily

The executive governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stated in a video clip that Channels Television aired that he and his group have chosen to use the “Mama Put” service in an effort to lessen the financial strain.

“The third level will be that we are going to do what we call the soup kitchen,” stated Sanwo-Olu.

“We did it during COVID. We want to identify Mama Put, and through them, we want to be able to feed between a thousand and a thousand five hundred people in every local government per day at the first instance for the first 30 to 60 days, so let’s watch out for the logistics”, he continued.

“We have identified the caterers already; funds will be sent to them, and they will have vouchers, so that people will just walk and get something to eat, at least one meal per day.

“The whole idea is that one of the verticals will reach you in one form or the other regarding food.
