Over 500 Nigerians have been kidnapped by terrorists and bandits in the last four days, according to Labour Party candidate Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour for the Lagos state 2023 governorship race. Despite this, the APC leadership appears to be lacking any sense of urgency.
On Saturday, he posted a post on his official X handle that included this comment.
His post was made in response to an attack on a school in Kuriga village, Kaduna state’s Chikun Local Government area, by some kidnappers who took around 200 students, along with their teachers.
In a post that Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour shared on his page, he said the current administration has destroyed the economy and also plundered the resources of the country. The Labour Party chieftain said that the only way to restore peace and prosperity to the nation is to remove the All Progressive Congress, APC, from power.
He wrote on his page;
“More than 500 citizens have been kidnapped by bandits and terrorists in the last four days, and yet the APC leadership lacks any sense of urgency. This party has destroyed the economy, plundered our resources, and has failed to keep anyone safe. It’s now evident that the only way to restore peace and prosperity to our nation is to remove the consistently incompetent APC from power. And God willing, we will”.
