Ken Pela, the Labour Party’s nominee for Delta State governor in 2023, has advised all resentful Obidient Movement members to put down their swords.
He published this assertion in a post on his official X account on Tuesday.
He is making this comment in response to the continuing conflict among some Obidient Movement members. He urged on all Obidient Movement members who genuinely uphold Peter Obi’s principles to sheathe their swords, put an end to all forms of personal attacks, and cease the disclosure of confidential information in a post that he uploaded on his official Facebook.
Ken Pela wrote on his page;
“At this point I am calling on all Obidients who truly believe in the ideals of our Principal and are committed to a New Nigeria to sheathe your swords forthwith and stop all personal attacks and “release of privileged information. Our cause is bigger than each and every one of us and we will definitely emerge from this stronger and more united”.
