BREAKING: Rhodes-Vivour Responds as Edun attributes current inflation to unproductive trillion Naira printing

Following Minister of Finance Wale Edun’s claim that Nigeria’s current inflation is a result of the previous administration printing trillions of Naira notes, which is not advantageous to Nigerians, former Lagos State Labour Party governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has taken to social media to voice his opinions.

Recall that in a meeting with the Senate Committee on Finance, Nigeria’s Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Finance Minister, Wale Edun, attributed the current inflation to the government of Muhammadu Buhari’s “unproductive” trillion Naira printing. He further stated that a comprehensive audit of the 22.7 trillion Naira that was printed during that time without clear direction was required.

And so Labour Party member, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in reaction to Wale Edun’s statement, took to his official X account to state that the APC blamed PDP for Nigerians woes for 8 years, adding that they also blamed themselves last year and yet their actions, incoherent policy formulation and dependence on propaganda show that they are all the same.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour finally asked netizens what they call the act of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
