BREAKING: ‘This Man as a Governor is Being Challenged by His Own Commissioners’ – According to Professor Benjamin Okaba

In an interview with Arise TV, Professor Benjamin Okaba, the president of the Ijaw National Congress, talked about the political conflict between Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. Despite the fact that Fubara is the state governor, he asserted, his commissioners still stand against him.

Prof. Okaba claims that Governor Fubara’s conflict with the previous governor started when the former asked about the extent of his authority to do particular duties in his capacity as governor.

He bemoaned the fact that Siminalayi Fubara is essentially operating as a puppet in his role as governor.

In his words, ”We have done a thorough analysis; the only offence committed by Fubara is that he had decided to ask questions about his authority to do certain things as governor of the state.

This man as a governor has merely travelled out of the state; this man as a governor is being challenged by his own commissioners; this man as a governor is just there as a stooge. And he’s saying this cannot happen for the growth of Rivers State.
