BREAKING: Wike Will Hurt Fubara Bad

Reactions have continued to pour in following the resolution of the political crisis in Rivers State, mediated by President Bola Tinubu.

The president successfully resolved the lingering political impasse in Rivers State during a meeting at the State House in Abuja, which included the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, former governor Peter Odili, and other stakeholders.

After the meeting, a series of resolutions were reached, and all parties agreed to a ceasefire agreement. However, Nigerian journalist Rufai Oseni expressed skepticism about the finality of the matter, suggesting that the details of the resolution might have favored Wike over Governor Fubara.

During an analysis on The Morning Show on Arise TV, Oseni remarked that Wike is likely to pursue Fubara politically, interpreting Governor Fubara’s actions as an appeasement, with Wike gaining the upper hand in the ceasefire. He emphasized that in the realm of politics, there are no gentlemen, and the written agreement may not be honored in the end, as the events in Rivers State reflect a power struggle.

Oseni stated, “This may be the beginning of the political death of Governor Fubara; Wike has gained from this ceasefire. Wike is going to go at him and hurt him bad.”
