Fani-Kayode said, “Those who insist on starting a crusade, starting a religious conflict, and assuming the worst about El-Rufai today solely because of his remarks on the role of religion in Kaduna state politics would be well advised to take all of this into consideration before continuing with their foolish actions and sneaky pranks.
“El-Rufai and Matawalle must be counted among those who should be hailed as the actual heroes of the fight to establish Asiwaju as the nation’s leader.
“Even though I may not agree with everything El-Rufai says or does, he is a fantastic combatant. He has my love and my respect. He has and will continue to do so.”
