Gowon was 31, Obasanjo was 39 when they became head of state, I’m 80 & I’ll be looking for work- Bode George

Bode George, former deputy national chairman, PDP, said that General Yakubu Gowon was 31 when he became the head of state and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was 39 when he became Nigeria’s head of state, he said he is now 80 and he will be looking for work to do what?

Bode George asked the rhetorical question in an interview with Arise News during the Morning Show program when Dr. Reuben Abati said that not less than 7 newspapers reported the same thing that he is ready to work with Tinubu if he invited him, asking him whether he said it or not.

Bode George frankly said he did not say it and he will never say it. He argue that he and Tinubu did not have the same political view and therefore they are not aligned politically.

Also, Bode George said that what he said when they asked him what he will do if Tinubu calls him was that, he will pray for him and that will be after the election case at the court. He said he is 80 years now what type of work will he be looking for when there are young minds, young people?

“General Gowon was 31 or 32 when he became the head of state, Baba Obasanjo was 39 when he became the head of state, me I’m close to 80 and I will be looking for work, to go and do what?
