JUST IN: Jimoh Ibrahim Pays N100m Dues For APC Members Ahead Of Primary Election

In preparation for the governorship primaries of All Progressives Congress APC in Ondo State coming up next week, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim one of the leading governorship aspirants in Ondo State has assisted some members of the party pay their annual dues for revalidation of their membership to the tune of N100 million.

APC national leadership had instructed all members of the party in Ondo State to pay their annual dues as it declared that only financial members of the party would be allowed to vote in the April 20, 2024 primaries of the party.

The leadership of the party had informed all members and governorship aspirants on the platform of the party that it has adopted a direct mode of primary to choose who flies the flag of the party in the November 16, 2024 gubernatorial election.

Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim currently representing Ondo South at the Senate disclosed that he had to assist some members of the party pay N100 million for revalidation of their membership in order to allow them participate in the party’s primaries.

According to him, “I paid a sum of N100 million to the purse of our national Secretariat as dues for some members of our party across the 18 local government areas of our state.

“This is to prevent a lot of our members from being disenfranchised during the forthcoming governorship primaries.”
