Ndidi Aghaulor, the new AIG for Zone 13, takes office

Newly deployed Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police, AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor, has assumed duty at Zone thirteen, Ukpo, comprising Anambra and Enugu State respectively.

Tribune Online gathered that Aghaulor succeeded AIG Tony Olofu, sequel to his retirement from active service.

In a press statement made available to Journalists in Awka, on Thursday, by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ihunwo Josephine, the new AIG who has zero tolerance for corruption is to work in line with the IGP’s vision statement for emplacing a modern police force that is professionally competent, service driven and people friendly.

Josephine said the appointment was made by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun.

“The Zonal Headquarters hereby solicits the cooperation and support of the good people of Enugu and Anambra States to enable him bring to bear his vast wealth of experience in policing and in the maintenance of law and order also, for all to be good and law abiding citizens”

“AIG Aghaulor hails from Agbor, Ika North Local Government Area of Delta State and had served in various capacities including but not limited to Assistant Commissioner of Police In Charge of Zonal Criminal Investigation Department Zone 9 Umuahia, Assistant Commissioner In Charge of Homicide Section,FCID Abuja and Director of Studies Police Staff College,Jos.

“He is married and blessed with children.”
