Reactions When Dele Momodu Posts A Picture Of Himself Demonstrating In 2012 Following GEJ’s Government’s Removal Of Subsidy

Dele Momodu, the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the founder of Ovation Magazine, uploaded a photo of himself demonstrating in 2012 following the removal of gasoline subsidies by the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration.

On Wednesday, he posted the picture to his verified Twitter feed, to which many people responded.

Following the photo’s release, Dele Momodu stated that he, along with the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, had joined hundreds of others in protesting the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration’s elimination of subsidies.

He said that at the time, they staged protests in Lagos State’s Ojota neighborhood.

He stated on his website: “Under the government of President Goodluck Jonathan, the famous family of Chief Abdul Ganiyu Oyesola Fawehinmi, SAN, and I joined thousands of protesters at Ojota, Lagos during the fuel subsidy demonstration in 2012” .
