Regardless Of The Court’s Decision Tomorrow, I Hope All Parties Will Accept It—Murray—Bruce Stated

A former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, has urged all the parties to the election and the appeal to accept the Supreme Court’s decision tomorrow ahead of the court’s decision on the petitions filed by Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, challenging the results of the February 25 presidential election.

Ben Murray-Bruce continued, saying unequivocally that “Nigerians should all unite and face the task of rescuing the country’s economy, most especially the Naira and undoing the damage the previous administration did.” He also stated that after tomorrow, there must be no more political animosity.

Mr. Ben Murray, SenatorBruce revealed this information in a message responding to tomorrow’s Supreme Court decision on his official X handle.

The former congressman also stated that we cannot remain in election mode indefinitely and that serious transitioning into governing mode must occur. He continued, declaring that “starting tomorrow, our disagreements should not be about one another but rather about insecurity, crime, destitution, and division.”

Recall that the Supreme Court is expected to rule on the appeals brought by Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, both of whom are contesting the way the February 25 presidential election was conducted. Nigerians are eagerly awaiting word on the Supreme Court’s ruling tomorrow.
