Sani Responds As Israel Demands That The UN Secretary-General Step Down

Human rights activist, socio-political critic, public commentator, author, and former federal lawmaker from Kaduna who represented the district in the upper house of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, responded to the Israeli demand that UN Secretary General António Guterres resign due to his remarks regarding the Israeli army’s attacks on Gaza.

Senator Sani responded to this incident on his official X Twitter.

Senator Sani said it is unacceptable to call for the resignation of UN Secretary General Gutters due to his remarks about Gaza.

According to Sani, no rational person would support, remain silent about, or maintain neutrality regarding Israel’s genocide bombings of Gaza and the mass killing of women and children under the pretext of self-defense.

No country has the immunity to blatantly violate international law, Senator Sani continued.

“No country is immune from being in flagrant violation of international law. The cruelest crime of the twenty-first century is what Gaza represents.” Senator Shehu Sani said.
