Shehu Sani Reacts to the House of Assembly Complex Demolition by the Rivers State Government

Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker from Kaduna and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, has responded to the destruction of the National Assembly complex by the Rivers State Government.

Around six a.m. on Wednesday, around five excavators started working on the complex’s demolition, according to PREMIUM TIMES. The story went on to say that the demolition took place at the same time that Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara was inside the Rivers State Government House presenting the state’s 2024 budget plan to a four-member House of Assembly.

The demolition has however led to several reactions from many Nigerians since the report surfaced online.

In a post that Shehu Sani made on his verified Twitter page on Wednesday, he wrote, “Old School; Stealing the Mace and removing the Roof of State Assembly. New School; Demolition the State Assembly”.
