Tinubu’s Wife Is A Pastor, Nigeria Will Not Be Islamised – Shettima

Kashim Shettima, who will take over as Nigeria’s Vice President, has responded to worries that he and Bola Tinubu, who will be his principal, have plans to Islamize the country.

Since the incoming vice president was announced as Tinubu’s running mate last year ahead of the elections, there have been divergent views by different groups and individuals. Some have alleged that the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) could be a plot to Islamize Nigeria. Others have argued that the Muslim-Muslim ticket is not a factor in the election at all.

Some have alleged that the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) could be a plot to Islamize Nigeria. Others have argued that the Muslim-Muslim ticket is not a factor in the election at all. But the new Vice President, Bola Tinubu, put those anxieties to rest on Saturday during a lecture in Abuja that was part of the festivities surrounding Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29. He stated that there was no plan to Islamize Africa’s most populous nation, and that he was speaking to calm those fears.
