[BREAKING] $20.52B: Reactions As Atiku Tells Senate President Not To Approve A Single Dollar For Tinubu

Social media users have taken to their official X account on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 to react after the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar asked the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio not to approve any loan for President Bola Tinubu. This came after President Bola Tinubu asked the National Assembly to approve $20.52 billion loan for projects.

In the post that Phrank Shaibu, the Special Adviser to Atiku Abubakar on Public Communication shared on his official X account, the ADC presidential candidate said the National Assembly should not approve a single dollar for the President.

He said if he becomes the President of Nigeria in 2027, he will scrutinize every loan that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken.

According to Phrank Shaibu on his official X account;

“The National Assembly must not approve a single dollar until the President publishes every project, contract, cost, contractor, loan term and repayment obligation”.
