Following the announcement of the Asagba of Asaba, HRM Joseph Chike Edozien, by the Royal Palace of Asaba, former Anambra state governor Peter Gregory Obi extended a condolence letter.
According to a post Peter Obi made on his official X account on Thursday, His Royal Highness is a professional with a strong work ethic who has always wanted to see Nigeria become a better place.
Peter Obi expressed his love of education as a reflection of his fervent enthusiasm for pursuing higher education as well as his wish for the education sector to expand.
He wrote on his page;
“Now that the Royal Palace, of Asaba Kingdom after the traditional rites, officially announced the passing on to glory of their revered traditional ruler, the Asagba of Asaba, HRM Joseph Chike Edozien, I wish to sincerely extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire Edozien family of Asaba, and the good people of Asaba, the government and people of Delta State and indeed, our dear nation Nigeria, over the passing of this great traditional ruler”.
