Destiny Nwagwu, the immediate past Labour Party lawmaker representing Aba North constituency, yesterday, embarked on a one-man protest against his removal by the Appeal Court.

Destiny, who shed a tear during the protest was sacked by the Appeal Court sitting in Lagos on Monday on the ground that he could not provide evidence of his membership in the Labour Party before his election.

His protest didn’t sit well with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State which in reaction criticised him for protesting.

PDP, in a statement signed by Abraham Amah, the party’s vice chairman and acting publicity secretary, on Monday evening, alleged that the protest by the former lawmaker in the streets of Aba was capable of inciting the people.

PDP said that the lawmaker should have accepted the ruling in good faith rather than asking the people of Aba to resist the judgement.
