Prof. Chidi Anselm Odinkalu, a human rights activist and lawyer, responded to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state, announcing his intention to engage food sellers to feed a minimum of 1,000 residents from each of the state’s 20 local government areas.
The revelation was made by the Lagos state governor on Thursday during a media chart, according to TVC NEWS. According to the governor, the objective is to guarantee that every day, at least 1,000 citizens of the 20 local governments would have access to a complimentary dinner.
However, Prof Chidi Odinkalu has now reacted to the statement that was made by the Lagos state governor. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he said Nigeria is officially a “Desperocracy”.
Chidi Odinkalu wrote on his page;
“Nigeria is officially a Desperocracy. Government of desperation, by desperation, & for desperation!”.
