Mansur Umar Kurugu, the National Spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya Movement, has stated that Nigerians should consider the achievements of Peter Obi in Anambra State and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in Kano State and give them the opportunity to extend their efforts to the national level.
In an interview on PAPShow, Kurugu said Nigerians should look at what Obi achieved during his time as governor of Anambra State and what Kwankwaso did in Kano, particularly in education, infrastructure, human capital development, and the empowerment of women and youths.
Kurugu said the two politicians had carried out projects and programmes at the state level, adding that they should be given the opportunity to expand their efforts across the country.
In Kurugu’s words, “There are people who served in office before. Let people go back to Anambra during Peter Obi’s tenure and see his achievements. Let them go to Kano and see what Senator Kwankwaso did in education, infrastructure, human capital development, and the empowerment of women and youths. We are not only talking; we are saying that we did all these things at the state level. Give us a chance to scale it up to the country.”
